Major OE07 project awarded from existing customer Caledus
Motion is thrilled to have been awarded with a major project this week from Caledus, an existing web client. The details of this project are to be kept top secret, so further news will follow in due course. Motion now have two large companies to look after in the run up to OE07, both Caledus and Vector Supplies who will be exhibiting – Motion will of course be attending the event to ensure all goes well for both our clients.

Results Tutors award Motion with web project
Results Tutors, based locally in Aberdeen have awarded Motion Creative with the design and development project for their brand new website. Motion will be developing this project in stages, the first involving the design and build of two pages to promote the company across the summer. Motion recruit new technical specialist
Another new member to our team, Layla McLardy, 25 will be working within both the Software and Web areas of the business and is an Information System Technology graduate. Layla will be responsible for the programming and build of any ecommerce or technical based web projects as well as dealing with client support issues. Layla is fitting in very well with the Motion team and is currently working on a variety of projects.

Aberdeen Airpark site launched
We are delighted to announce the launch of Aberdeen Airpark’s new site which will now allow customers to book and pay direct online. Motion were briefed by Airpark to re-design the home page, which was originally built in flash and was blocking positive search engine results, therefore a new design was created to also promote the online booking facility. The new design was based on the original identity and design from the other pages within the website. We are sure that this booking system will be a success for Airpark and will prove to be a useful and convenient way of booking for travelers.

Motion welcomes two returning clients
Motion are delighted to announce that two of our long-standing clients, Malcolm Allan House Builders and Euroline Shipping have returned to Motion for full site re-designs. Both the existing sites were built by us about 4 years ago and are now ready for an over-haul due to updates and changes within the organizations named. Motions Web and Multimedia department named ‘Motion Creative’
Motion have always been known as Motion Software, operating two departments within the business – Software Development and Web/Multimedia Development. Motion’s web department will now be known as Motion Creative with the only change being a brand new website and a more defined separation between the two departments, with the added option of software integration or technical input being available through the Motion Software team

Design student joins Motion
Motion have recently appointed a Gray’s School of Art Design Student to work within the web department for the summer. Kristy Fraser, 20 will shadow Diane Gray, New Media Creative for the summer weeks in hope to gain some valuable experience for her future career in web design. Diane Gray stated ‘We are delighted to have Kristy on board, she is extremely enthusiastic and has a strong willingness to learn on top of her already vast design skills’. Kristy will be working on the creation of a new website for Motion Software throughout the summer.

Motion design and develop re-design for ‘The Spires’
Based across the UK in Aberdeen, Birmingham and Glasgow, The Spires, Serviced Suites required a re-design of their existing site. Motion was commissioned to create a new design based on a very thorough brief and were able to work very closely with The Spires to achieve the desired results. Motion were also asked to integrate an online booking system that would allow customers to check availability online. Motion provides Norco with the ultimate promotional power
Leading battery manufacturers, Norco, asked Motion to design and produce an interactive presentation for use at a recent exhibition in Birmingham NEC. The presentation was to be customer focused and interactive at the same time as heavily promoting Norco and their products, services and capabilities as a whole. The presentation was then produced in CD Business card format which gave Norco a unique promotional tool to hand out at the NEC.
